Orders will be shipped within 3-5 business days, via Priority mail. Orders are typically shipped between Tuesdays and Fridays. Customers will be emailed their tracking number after shipment. In the event of a delay or a problem with the order, the customer will be notified via e-mail. Please note that the shipping rates for many items are weight-based. The weight of any item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
The MF Shop staff makes every attempt to package items with care and we typically use recycled packaging supplies. Information on the Mattress Factory will be included with each order, please let us know if you'd like information on event rentals, education programing, or upcoming museum events.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. International orders will be shipped USPS First Class, and international customers will receive confirmation of shipping via email. Recipient is responsible for all applicable customs duties, tariffs, taxes, or Value Added Tax (VAT), which are collected by the carrier upon delivery. Delivery should take 8 - 10 business days to reach your country provided that there are no unforeseen delays in Customs.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error: you received an incorrect or defective item, etc. No returns are available on sale items.

We process our payments with Square. It takes 2-7 business days to process a refund with Square. Once the refund is processed and sent to your bank, it can take another 2-7 business days (depending on the bank’s processing speeds) for the refund to post to your account. In total it can take 9-14 business days for you customer to receive their refund.
Please note that the MF Shop platform is designed to follow the latest PCI standards, so it does not store credit card data and only works with PCI compliant gateways.
