These cups are shaped by the hands of people experiencing homelessness in Pittsburgh. Daniel See,a student from Singapore studying at Carnegie Melon University, worked closelywith theresidents of the shelter to produce this series of cups. He wanted to transform“everyday objects into a physical reminder of a person on the streets.”
The Pleasant Valley Men's Shelteraccommodates 25 men suffering from homelessness every night of the year.Despite being a pervasive problem in many modern cities, homelessness is an issue often hard to approach. Project Home(less) hopes to bridge that gap and connect people from all walks of life, reminding us of our common humanity.
