Named after the famous Chichicastenango Market, known by many as the most colorful market in North America, Chi-Chi was originally inspired by the shape and construction of skeins of thread used for ikat tie-dying. Chi-Chi is handmade by artisans in Guatemala, 100% cotton. Originally designed as part of the 2006 Rhode Island School of Design course, Bridging Cultures Through Design, led by Mimi Robinson.
