Dove Bradshaw 2√0, 1999

Dove Bradshaw’s Limited Edition relates to her 1998 exhibition Negative Ions. It consisted of four water filled glass funnels, each suspended above a rock salt boulder. The funnels were calibrated to allow for a seven drop per minute flow, boring a hole into the salt at a rate of two inches per month. The overflow recrystallized, changing the depth and surface patterns daily.
