The theme of this week is: Cuba-themed items
Our newest exhibition, Queloides: Race and Racism in Cuban Contemporary Art, curated by Alejandro de la Fuente & Elio Rodriguez Valdés, is on view until February 27, 2011.
Although the title might be somewhat intimidating, once you’re here to see these art works with your own eyes, I believe you will be amazed by these dynamic and penetrating artworks created by twelve renowned artists.
Just as you may expect, we prepared many fantastic Cuba-themed items for YOU! From books to cigar cases, whether you want something informative, practical or just entertaining, you can find it in our Shop!
Our administrative assistant, Ian, a graphic designer and a fan of this exhibition would like to show you what pieces of this show you can bring home with you!
More information about the exhibition, please go to http://www.queloides-exhibit.com/
My question of this week would be:
When you think about Cuba, what’s on your mind? What element attracts you the most? Any Cuban-themed item you would like to see in our shop? Share your idea with us through our Facebook page.
