Jes LaVecchia, aka JESHAKA, is a mixed media artist whosecharacters, or “Wuts," are so-called because you don’t really know what they are, what they’re doing, or what hellish hole or dimension they crawled out of.They developed after a traumatic time in the artist's life, and she might’ve brought them back from whatever dark place she was lurking in...Nonetheless, humor shines through.
Each is one-of-a kind and made from the following materials:preserved moss, crystals, dried natural objects, vintage scrabble blocks, sculpted clay, acrylic paint, wire and glue.
